I’m currently in the process of renovating a house. I say I, I mean my boyfriend is. We have bought a property that needs a complete overhaul. We have essentially stripped the property back to it’s bare bones and started again. This has given us the opportunity to create the home of our dreams. We are so close now to the design stage and I am so excited to create my dream rooms. The first room I will be designing will be my dream office. I recently stumbled upon an Insta Stories by Poppy Deyes that showed her office setup and it was exactly the style I wanted. Most of the items she had I could never afford so I started sourcing similar items but budget versions.
My Dream Home Office – Key Pieces
The colour palette I have chosen for my office is mainly white and grey with hints of pink and rose gold. I love keeping the main pieces neutral as it means I can switch up the colour scheme with different accent colours as and when the trends change. I also really want lots of greenery in my office. Artifical plants of course, I can’t keep anything alive! The key pieces for the office include this Alex Desk from Ikea and this White Kallax Shelving Unit. I’d like to keep my office as clutter free as possible. The Kallax unit will be perfect for filing things away and keeping some order. I’ve also got my eye on this Grey Computer Chair from Argos which I’ve fallen in love with.
Blush Pink and Rose Gold
To add that pop of colour I’ve found a gorgeous fluffy pink cushion which will sit perfectly on the chair. Above my desk I’d love to create a gallery wall. I’ve already got a lot of prints ready to frame including this Cacti print from That Lame Company. Rose Gold is still on trend and I’ve found some cute accessories to go with my theme. I love this Rose Gold Desk Tidy from Wilkinsons and it’s a steal at £3! I’ve also found this cute artificial plant in a rose gold pot. It will look perfect sat on my desk.
I literally cannot wait to get into the house now and start creating my dream home office. I’m hoping with an organised room I’ll be back to kicking blogging ass!
