Blogging Holiday with the Girls at Bluestone Wales

Bluestone Wales Holiday with the Girls

On Monday I arrived in the glorious holiday park that is Bluestone Wales. If you haven’t heard of Bluestone before it is very similar to Centre Parcs in the style of holiday that it is but it is based in the beautiful surroundings of Pembrokeshire.

Myself, Charlotte, Holly, Ffion and Lottie were all invited along to Bluestone to see what they had to offer and to check out some of the brand new lodges that they had. We were staying in the St David’s lodge that accommodates 8 people and comes with two premium WiFi passes so is perfect for bloggers! The St Davids lodge consists of one double bedroom with en-suite, three twin bedrooms, two bathrooms, playroom (which we did have a joke about in) and a large open plan living, kitchen and dining area.

When we drove up to the lodge for the first time we were all so excited and couldn’t wait to see where we were going to be living for the next 5 days. Before we even got our bags out of the car we had a walk around the lodge ooing and ahing at how big it was. I think I remember a lot of screaming and shouting things like ‘Oh my god, this is amazing!’. We were in our element.

I managed to bugsy the master bedroom all to myself and it was amazing!

I’m sad that I am now writing this back at home and I won’t be staying in that massive cosy bed tonight. The double bedroom also had an alcove that they had created into a dressing table with a stool and a large mirror, this made me very happy indeed!

The downstairs living area was open and spacious and we spent a lot of time around the dining room table on our laptops chatting and blogging away.

It was so nice to get away with the girls and have company whilst blogging. It’s amazing what a difference having people around you does to your productivity. We all managed to get so much work done and helped each other out with our blogs. As well as getting a lot of work done we also enjoyed the facilities at Bluestone and took a day trip to Folly Farm.

Overall I was insanely impressed with the lodge and having visited Centre Parcs numerous times before, the accommodation at Bluestone wins by miles!

Stay tuned for upcoming posts about what we got up to in the Bluestone Village, including walks, eating out and spa treatments.

Have you visited Bluestone Wales before or a similar holiday park? Where’s your favourite place to holiday?
