Scandinavian Look Living Room Inspiration

This year I will potentially be buying a new house. We’ve seen one we like but nothing is definite yet. Naturally I have been spending a lot of time on Pinterest pinning away at all the homeware bits and designs that I like. I’ve found a lot of the pins that I’m pinning are all based around a Scandinavian look. I love the simplicity of the look with white walls and lots of natural elements like wood and metal being used. I love the clean crisp feeling of this design style and you can add your own twist to the look with pops of colour here and there. I’ve decided to put together a design board of all my favourite living room pieces to picture how I want my living room to look in my new home.

!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p, cb; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); e.id = id; cb = new Date().getTime().toString(); p = ‘//shopsensewidget.shopstyle.com/widget-script.js?cb=1463857830426?cb=’ + cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === ‘object’){ if(doc.readyState === ‘complete’){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, ‘script’, ‘shopsensewidget-script’);
Corner Sofa – FishPools
Copper Hanging Planters – Etsy
Grey Zig Zag Rug – Very
Copper Floor Lamp – Oliver Bonas
Colourful Geo Cushions – Oliver Bonas
Grey Knitted Pouffe – Marks and Spencer
White Coffe Table – Ikea
Copper Vase – Amara
White Ladder Shelf – Maisons Du Monde

I’ve gone for mainly grey and white bases with pops of colour and of course some copper thrown in. I love that the base of all the items is neutral it makes it a lot easier to mix up the other colours that you use in the room if you ever fancied a change.

One thing that will be a must in the new house is a super large comfy sofa. I love corner sofas as there’s so much more space to stretch out. I’ve already planned for it to be my new blogging spot. I’ve actually been after a chevron rug for ages now and this grey and white one from Very is extremely reasonable at just £25!

If I was to purchase all these pieces for the living room the total cost would be around £1925. Some of the pieces could be created for much less if I did them myself such as the hanging planters and the ladder shelf.

What do you think of this Scandinavian Look Living Room Inspiration Board I’ve come up with? If you know of anything you think that would compliment this look please send me the links.

    I love this look! A lot of the pieces are similar to ones I bought for my house (with less of a price tag lol).
