I’ve always been a bit obsessed with cosmetic surgery and if I had the funds I have a list of things that I would love to get done. Unfortunately my bank balance doesn’t quite allow me to fund such luxuries so I’m always on the hunt for the cheap and reliable alternative to cosmetic surgery. When I signed up to The Libbie Club my first months subscription included a product from the company ‘Chin Up’ that describes itself as the ’30 minute non surgical face lift’. A face lift isn’t quite what’s on my ‘must have done procedures’ list but I was up for giving it a go.
Included in the Chin Up Kit are 2 Slimming Masks, 1 Chin Up Strap and a Tape Measure.
The product is really easy to use and the packaging has step by step instructions and pictures to show you exactly what to do. You place the Chin Up Mask on your face similar to the way you would a normal sheet face mask except it only covers your cheeks, chin and neck. You then fasten the chin up strap over the sheet mask to hold it in place and then leave it to work it’s magic for 30 minutes.
I must admit I felt like a complete and utter numpty wearing this contraption and my boyfriend thought it was absolutely hilarious. Having a rather round face and chubby cheeks didn’t help the situation either. It was slightly uncomfortable to wear but not enough to put me off using the product. I also failed to read that the product does heat up on your face overtime so after 25 minutes when my face felt like it was burning I decided to take the mask off.
Did I notice a difference? Yes, I did notice a very slight difference, but it’s not something I think I would use again purely based on the fact that it was uncomfortable and the mask felt like it was burning my skin.
As always just because my experience wasn’t amazing with Chin Up it doesn’t mean yours won’t be. If you did want to try Chin Up for yourself you can find the products over on Libbie Club.
Have you ever tried a product like this before? Can you recommend any others for me to try?
