Now that I no longer live at home every time my parents ask me out for food it’s 100% Yes! Who says no to free food? So last Sunday we went to The Greyhound Inn, Llanrhidian which is situated in the heart of The Gower Peninsula. I’ve been to The Greyhound loads of times recently but haven’t ever been there for Sunday dinner so I was looking forward to seeing what they had to offer.
When we got there it wasn’t that busy and we were seated in the main dining area that looks out onto the outdoor park and picnic area.
We all went for the two course option and chose the main and desert and for £11.95 that seemed very reasonable. For my main I opted for the Chicken and that also came with stuffing balls (my favourite).
The food didn’t take long at all and our table was filled with plates and dishes of food very quickly. I made everyone sit and wait for 2 minutes so I could snap some photos.
The food was amazing and we had a huge selection of vegetables to choose from. I piled my plate high and then drowned it in gravy, just the way I like it.
Everyone really enjoyed their main course but the best was yet to come with the dessert!
I went for the Chocolate Fudge Cake and it came with Joe’s Icecream. It was so good I’m craving another one right now as I write this.
I would definitely recommend The Greyhound Inn for Sunday Dinner down The Gower but you do need to book in advance as by the time we were leaving the lounge area was full.
