Accessories I Can’t Wait To Purchase For Spring

Spring might still be a few weeks off, but it’s time to start getting excited about the upcoming trends and the warmer weather. To ease us into this year’s spring style, I thought that I would start off by focusing on accessories. I am a little accessories mad (mainly rings and bags), so this felt like the perfect area to start with.

As well as my love of accessories, the other reason I thought now would be the perfect time for this post is because of how many trends there are to keep up with. It might not be spring yet but if you want to keep up with the styles of the season, you need to start getting ready now. From the bags and the boots to the jewellery, come spring there will be hundreds of designs to choose from.

To help you ensure you look fabulous this spring, I’ve put together this cheat sheet for all the must-have accessories of the season.

Let’s talk jewellery

The jewellery trends this spring are out of this world. There are three main trends to be aware of, shoulder dusters, choker necklaces and watches.

This spring, earrings will be longer than ever before, hence the name ‘shoulder dusters’. If you’re someone who loves earrings, make sure to get your hands on a couple of pairs of these babies. The style you opt for is up to you just make sure you have some shoulder dusters in your jewellery box.

Last year, choker necklaces were in, but this year they’ve come back in an ever bigger and more fashionable way. Gone are the elastic choker necklaces, this year it’s all about glamour. If you’re going to invest in necklaces for the spring, ensure that they’re choker styles. You’ll find that this year, chokers come in plenty of elegant and glitzy styles, so are perfect for all occasions.

Watches are an accessory that are always in style, but this year, they’re bigger than ever. Almost every model on the catwalks was sporting some sort of time piece or another. And because of this, a watch is an absolute essential for this spring. You’ll find plenty of stores selling watches, but make sure to check out the Precision Time website. As they have a selection of watches that are perfect for the spring/summer season.

Selecting the most stylish bags

This spring, there are two main trends to be aware of when it comes to bags, and those are punchy prints and patterns and chic white bags. Two ends of the spectrum I know, but both styles are going to be big this spring.

For printed bags, a mixture of stripes, animal prints and graphic designs are going to be big. As well as styles decorated with gems and other embellishments. The brighter and bolder the bag is, the better.

At the other end of the design spectrum, white bags are also set to be on trend this spring. If bright, bold designs aren’t for you, then set yourself up for style success with a beautiful white bag. You’ll find that white bag designs will be available everywhere in a variety of styles.

It’s shoe time

This spring, there will be a range of shoes that are on trend. These include clunky sandal designs, complete with glitter and various embellishments. Gladiator sandals will also, once again be on trend, and available in a range of colours and styles. This season, clear accessories are in, so you may even find some designs made from clear plastic.

Ankle boots are also set to on trend this coming season, and will be available in a range of styles. However, it’s suede designs this year will be the most popular.

This spring is set to be big when it comes to new trends and styles. So it’s best to get ahead of the curve and start finding all your fave designs now. Hopefully, this cheat sheet has helped you to get and idea of all the must-have accessories for the coming season.
