Last night on Twitter something amazing happened within the Blogging community. For once I wasn’t seeing bitchiness and drama, I was seeing genuine tweets of kindness and positivity towards each other. I’m not saying that this doesn’t ever happen but it doesn’t happen often enough and last night just proved how powerful as a community we are.
I first spotted Olivia from Dungarees and Donuts doing it and I stalked back through her feed to find out what was going on. The concept of it was that everyone posted the same graphic and whoever liked that image you would then write something positive about them without including their name for them to guess who it was about. What started out as a fun game soon took over my Twitter feed leaving it the most positive and uplifting thing I have ever seen!
This is what Twitter looked like last night:
Your eyebrows are simply goals and you were one of my first ever advertisers (so big thank you!) 💕

I see you at events sometimes and it makes me happy. Also your brows are on fleek, like all the time.

These anonymous tweets of kindness put a massive smile on my face last night and really got me looking forward to the New Year and continuing blogging. Do something nice today for someone and see how different it can make you feel.
