King Bloom Cocktails* – £3.75
Last week my boyfriend abandoned me for a week in France so that called for one thing… GIRLS ONLY SLEEPOVER! We haven’t had a sleepover in years so we thought it would be a good laugh and to enjoy the occasion even more King Bloom Cocktails kindly gifted me some of their cocktails to try out and see what we thought.
I got home at 7 from work and as soon as the girls arrived we ordered DOMINOS!! No sleepover is complete without a takeaway.
We munched on our pizza and bajillion sides whilst watching Ice Princess of Netflix. Kelly and Becca hadn’t seen it before so we of course had to watch it to the end!
We then decided to make a camp on my living room floor by dragging the mattress off the bed upstairs and covering it with pillows and blankets.
We were also joined by two handsome chaps called Alfie & Monty.
We are a group of scary movie lovers and we meet up once a week for ‘scary movie night’. Unfortunately I think we have exhausted all horror films now and there’s not much we haven’t seen that’s worth seeing. We ended up watching Saw 5 and taste testing the King Bloom Cocktails.
My absolute favourite was the cocktail named ‘Tea Party’. This was one I wasn’t sure if I would like but I absolutely loved it. The cocktail contains Gin, Peach & Green Tea. To me it tasted a lot like the apple sourz shots which I love so that in drink form was perfect!
My second favourite was the cocktail named ‘Ladybird’ which had Vodka, Raspberry & Kiwi in it. It was really sweet and fruity and was pretty much the alcohol equivalent to summer fruits squash! Yum!
I’m not a fan of coconut so the ‘Blizzard’ cocktail didn’t appeal to me as it contained Vodka, White Cranberry and Coconut. Georgina loved them though so she had extra!
We stayed up til around 2am before falling asleep exhausted from a week of work.
Massive Thank you again to King Bloom Cocktails as they made the night even better! The jars are super instagrammable as well so we all had fun taking photos of our drinks.
I will definitely order the Ladybird and Tea Party cocktails again as I think they are perfect for camping & BBQ’s e.t.c as the container is actually plastic. They can be purchased individually or in packs of 12 at £24.95 which works out at just under £2.10 a drink, which is an absolute bargain!
Have you tried King Bloom Cocktails before? What scary film would you recommend for me and the girls to watch at our next movie night?
