On Sunday I attended my second ever blogging event in Cardiff called Party At The Angel. The event was organised by Ffion & Charlotte of Big Welsh Events. I had met Charlotte the week before as we went to London for Bloggers Fashion Week together and this was my first time meeting Ffion but we have chatted before on Twitter.
The Angel Hotel was an amazing venue for the event and the room we were allocated was the perfect size! As we entered the event we were treated to Champagne and Canapes which was such a pleasant surprise. There were also some amazing cupcakes made by the Renate Store Cardiff as well which I scoffed in one so I didn’t smudge my lipstick!
There were brand tables dotted around the room with samples and goodie bags and for us to chat too, there was also a hairstylist there to do up do’s and then there were tables in the centre of the room for bloggers to sit down and chat to one another.
I chatted loads with Ellie of I Need More Makeup and Lydia of Electric Suede, both these girls are absolute babes and I was in stitches laughing and chatting with both of them. I felt like I had known them both forever!
There was also a photobooth at the venue and all the bloggers got the chance to mingle and take some funny snaps with the props. Charlotte was busy printing these out at the event so we could all have one to take home which was such a brilliant idea.
We also managed to get a group shot of all the bloggers who attended which was really nice as this isn’t always possible at events.
We also had goodie bags to take home with us which included items from Bee Good, Beauty Crowd, Prairie Charms, Scent City & Barebaroque.
A massive congratulations to Ffion of A South Wales Blog & Charlotte of Rose Above The Thorns for pulling off their first blogger event, they did an amazing job and I can’t wait for the next one.
