Silk Fibre Brow Enhancer* – £19.99

I’ve only in the last few months really worked on getting my eyebrow game ‘on fleek’ as they say. It was only 3 months ago that I had my first ever brow wax and tint at Benefit’s Brow Bar! I feel like a bad beauty blogger for admitting that but it’s true. I always used to pluck my own eyebrows and pencil them in like mad because of how badly I had over plucked them. If you want to take any advice from this post it is that you should always leave your eyebrows to a professional! True words of wisdom right there.

I’ve tried out a few different products on my brows from Benefit’s Gimme Brow to the Hi Impact Brow Palette all of which I have been super happy with and continued to use. When Silk contacted me about reviewing their Fibre Brow Enhancer I was intrigued. I’ve heard about the fibre mascaras before but never heard of a product that does the same for the eyebrows. I opted for the Dark Shade as I had recently dyed my hair dark brown so thought this would match best and look more natural.

The product size is fairly small around the length of Benefits Gimme Brow but a bit wider so considering the size and price in comparison to Gimme Brow it’s not bad at all. It should last 120 applications!

Before I start going into detail about the review I just need to say – Holy crap I’m in love! I don’t think I’ve so far come across a brow product like this, you literally cannot apply it incorrectly. Every single time I use it it goes on like an absolute dream and sits perfectly for the entire day. I’m in eyebrow fleek heaven!

The detailed review: The product is essentially lots of little fibres that hook onto your existing brows to add fullness and colour. To apply you just take the applicator wand out of the bottle and sweep it across your brows lightly at first and then going back to any areas that need more thickness. It’s unbelievably easy to use and like I said early I don’t think you can get it wrong. The applicator wand has a thick and thin side so can be used from the centre of your brows right out to the thinnest parts without overdrawing.

The product is said to set in 60 seconds but I think it sets much quicker than that and my brows last all day with no smudging what so ever. When applying the product a few fibres do fall onto my nose but a quick sweep of my powder and they are gone.

It is suggested you use warm water to remove the fibres but I have no trouble getting it off with just using my Garnier Micellar Water.

Silk Fibre Brow Enhancer is available in four different shades and I chose the shade Dark which suits my hair colouring perfectly. The colours available are Light, Medium, Dark & Extra Dark.

I can’t rave about this product enough and it’s absolutely everything I want from a brow product. I’m completely sold on it and have used it everyday since receiving it! Fingers crossed they make me an ambassador so I can have ‘on fleek’ brows for life *hint hint*.

What product/s do you currently use for your eyebrows? Which is your all time favourite brow product?
