I am always on the hunt for new skincare products that will combat my combination spot prone skin. I was kindly sent a sample of Nourish Treatment Kale Enzymatic Exfoliating Cleanser to try out. I had heard of the brand Nourish before but didn’t really know much about them. What I really love about Nourish is that all their products are ethically sourced and cruelty free.
The product packaging is really cute and definitely gives you a feel for the brand. I tried out the product before going in the shower and put the sample all over my face and neck. The product does have a very strong scent which I wasn’t prepared for, I haven’t smelt Kale before so I have no idea if it was that but it smelt quite citrus like to me. It was quite an overpowering scent and did put me off the product a little but I persevered for full product testing.
The cleanser reminded me very much of Lush’s Cosmetic Warrior as it looked very similar, the only difference being the scent. After washing it off my skin felt really smooth and soft. I was actually more impressed with the product that I thought I would be.
I’m really not sure if I would purchase this product again as I feel that Lush have a very similar product at a much more affordable cost.
I would however like to try other products from the Nourish Skincare Range at some point to see if the others don’t have that over powering scent as that’s the only thing that really put me off.
