Dr. Paw Paw Original Balm

Dr. Paw Paw Original Balm* – £6.95

I’ve never really been one for lip products. I always find that lipsticks make my lips even more dry than they already are. I invested in an Eos Lip Balm around a year ago and used it occasionally but didn’t really find it having much of an effect on my dry, cracked lips. I also tried out Lush’s bubblegum lip scrub but didn’t really find the product to be that effective either.

I was recently sent a sample of Dr. Paw Paw Original Balm to try out and see if this could work wonders on my dry lips. I’ve been seeing the brand all over social media recently and couldn’t wait to try it out as I had heard so many positive things. Dr. Paw Paw Balm is different to other lip products as this balm is multi purpose! The balm can be used on your hair, nails and skin for all different sorts of results. I decided to stick to using it as a lip balm as this is my current problem area.

To start I really love the packaging. So bright and the perfect size to fit into any handbag! The consistency to this product is quite different to other lip balms I have tried. It’s more like a primer type substance very similar to The Body Shop’s Instablur

Dr. Paw Paw Original Multi Purpose Balm

The product is quite thick so you can use it sparingly and still get good results. I’ve been using it for a week now and I completely love it. It doesn’t leave a white / creamy look on the lips like I found my Eos Balm did. It blends in perfectly clear and leaves the lips feeling soft and smooth. I found that when applying lipsticks after using the Dr. Paw Paw balm the lipstick didn’t dry up my lips like it normally would do.

I would definitely buy this product myself when this runs out and I’d love to try the other coloured balms that are available. I’ll definitely be taking this on holiday with me as well and testing it out in much more hot and humid conditions to see if it works as well then.

Have you tried Dr. Paw Paw Original balm before? What is your current lip must have?
