7 Things Every Woman Must Take on Holiday
(Source)

So, we’ve already looked at how to make packing for a holiday less stressful. The next thing you’re going to want to focus on is your checklist! Have you ever got the feeling you’ve forgotten something? As soon as you step onto the plane. It happens to the best of us. If you want to make sure you’re fully prepared, write up a checklist. To help you on your way, here are 7 things every woman must take on holiday.

1. Sanitary Items
Okay, we kind of knew this one was coming. How many times have you forgotten to take tampons or sanitary towels on holiday? There’s nothing worse than trying to navigate a foreign supermarket just to stock up. Even if you’re not due, you never know what Mother Nature is up to. She does like to dampen all our plans. Make sure you’ve got a supply of sanitary items with you, at all times.

2. Beach Towel
Most hotels will provide you with bath towels, so that isn’t a problem. However, don’t forget to bring a beach towel with you. It’s not cool to chill by the pool on one of the hotel’s fluffy white bath towels. If you don’t want to take up too much space in your suitcase, then buy a cheap one on holiday. Just get rid of it at the end of the trip, if you don’t want to take it home.

3. Travel Straighteners
Most hotel rooms will provide you with a hairdryer nowadays. However, barely anywhere will have straighteners you can use. Invest in some mini travel straighteners to take with you. If you’re going on a holiday with the girls, then spread this kind of thing between suitcases. One of you has the mini straighteners, another has the mini curlers. You get the gist!

4. Kindle
Carrying books in your suitcase is a recipe for disaster. They take up lots of space, they’re heavy, and they could get ruined while you’re away. Every woman should have a Kindle with them on holiday. Otherwise, what are you going to read on the plane or by the pool? You should also invest in some kindle cases to keep it protected when you’re away. It can be too easy to drop something like this after one too many cocktails.

5. Chargers and Adaptors
With all these electronics in your bag, don’t forget to take their chargers. Along with adaptors to suit whichever sockets they have in that country. Not sure which plugs work in which country? There are some handy guides to help you out with that. You don’t want your electronics out of use, just because you forgot one, tiny adaptor.

6. Medication
Are you on any kind of medication? If so, don’t forget to take it all with you. This includes the contraceptive pill! You might want to make up a little first aid kit which includes all of your meds, plasters, and anything else you might need. Don’t forget plenty of painkillers for those hungover mornings too.

7. Important Documents
Finally, you should always remember to pack your important documents. Not just the originals, but copies too. Leave your originals in your hotel safe and take the copies out with you if you think you might need them. This includes a copy of your passport! It’s a good way to stay safe as a young woman on holiday.

Of course, don’t forget all your clothes, shoes, and bikinis. Once you’ve packed all those in your bag, you’re set to go. Happy holidays!
