So for the past week I’ve been in bed ill and haven’t been able to blog at all. Stupidly I had no blog material in my drafts to be able to schedule. I was getting even more stressed out that I didn’t have anything scheduled and that wasn’t exactly helping me get better. I do NOT want to be in that situation again.
Unfortunately Life throws some curve balls that we don’t expect and the best way to avoid your blog suffering is to be prepared. Having a little back log of posts that have no specific time that they must be published by and keeping them on standby isn’t a bad idea. Something I now in hindsight wish I had done.
I was doing really well with my blog writing and had managed to schedule a fortnight ahead. But then I thought ‘Oh no worries, I’ve got a fortnights worth of content. I can just chill for a bit now’ Wrong. Now I’m behind on things I should have done and have lots to try and get written over the weekend now that I’m feeling better.
So this post is kind of a sorry for not posting for practically a week and a reminder to myself never to let that happen again. So Neesha this is your friendly reminder.. Don’t rest on your laurels, get scheduled, get up to date and keep it consistent.
