Magnitone Lucid Face Cleansing Brush in Aqua Green* – £69.99

When I was gifted the Magnitone Lucid thanks to the Bloggers Love Hub Twitter Party I *squeed* in delight! I’ve read so much about them and facial cleansing brushes seem to be taking over the beauty market at the moment. The Magnitone Lucid promises ‘deep pore purification and gentle exfoliation’, something I feel my skin desperately needs.

The Magnitone Lucid comes in 4 gorgeous colours and I opted for the Aqua Green. It also comes with a wireless travel charger which magnetizes to the Magnitone Lucid to charge. Pretty cool for any tech geeks like me. It is also 100% waterproof and can be used in the shower! They’ve literally thought of everything!

Before trying out the product I played around with it a bit to get used to the functions and how to change the brush head. The Magnitone Lucid comes with an active clean brush head but you can buy others to use with it and they are super easy to change and replace and are priced from £15.99.

I used the product with my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Cleanser and followed the instructions to the T. The Magnitone Lucid has a built in facial cleansing timer and beeps to let you know to move onto a different area of your skin and then automatically switches off after 1 minute of cleansing. After the minute was up my skin felt really weird and tingly almost like my skin was moving. A really weird sensation but my skin definitely felt smooth and soft.

After a weeks worth of usage I have already noticed a difference. My skin feels much softer and smoother than it did before. I also had quite bad blackheads on my nose and forehead but these have reduced dramatically since using the Magnitone Lucid! They were something I was really conscious of before but now I don’t need to worry about them. The Magnitone Lucid definitely gets deeper into pores and gets out the dirt that you can’t get at normally.

Overall I’m thrilled I now own a facial cleansing brush and will definitely be keeping it as part of my nightly cleansing routine. The price would not be something I would be able to afford normally so would probably have put the Magnitone Lucid on a wishlist and bought it with gift vouchers. If you’re in the same position and don’t have that kind of money spare then put it on a birthday or christmas list or ask family and friends for vouchers so you can purchase one.

I'm so tempted to take the plunge and buy one of these! I have a similar brush by Olay but this one sounds lovely and looks pretty cool too (:

I've tried a couple face cleansing brushes but they've all made me 'purge' forever so I basically had to discontinue use and now they just sit in my drawers 🙁
