Tan Eraser* – £6.00

For the first time in forever (breaks into song from Disney) I fake tanned! Not the instant stuff that you put on for a night out that washes off the next morning, a proper evening routine of fake tanning before going to bed. I used the St Moriz gradual self tan and was left with the perfect glowing colour I wanted for a girls birthday night out.

I was not however ready for the pain and effort it would be to try and remove said tan. In the past fortnight I have literally rubbed my skin red raw trying to get the tan off. I ended up tweeting St Moriz to find out what they recommended to get the tan off.

I tried the baby oil routine but I still couldn’t get this tan to budge. The colour was left most prominent on my ankles, knees, elbows and feet. It was then that I found out about Tan Eraser. The Tan Eraser is an exfoliating hand mitt that promises to ‘remove fake tan easily’. The mitt has two sides, one pink and the other black. The pink side is for light exfoliation and the black side for ‘stubborn areas like the elbows and ankles’.

Right now I was very much in dire need of the black side of the mitt. The instructions of use are pretty basic and standard for any exfoliating product. So I jumped in the shower washed as normal and rinsed off all soapy suds and then got to work attacking my ankles and knees.

The Result?

Wow flipping wow! I only needed to use the pink side of the mitt and without much effort at all the stubborn orange patches were gone. The dead and dry skin came off with such ease, I can’t believe the other methods I had tried had failed so badly. The Tan Eraser worked a dream! If anyone has been to Turkey and had a Turkish bath this is very much the effect this has on the skin. It leaves you with fresh skin ready to pamper and moisturise. I think the product is fantastic and I know I will be using this forever more. To be honest this product isn’t just for those who fake tan. If you are about to head off on holiday the best thing to do is exfoliate with this mitt and get rid of all the dead skin so you have a nice soft fresh skin base for sunbathing.

I’m really really pleased with this product and it certainly doesn’t break the bank at £6.00 a mitt.

Good recommendation! I don't know what it is about winter but I have been thinking about buying an exfoliating product for a little while – I like the pictures on your blog and the informative way you write – definitely going to give you blog a follow xx
