What Makes Me Happy?

I Am Happy

The beautiful Sammy from Little Fickle wrote a post today that made me want to face up to facts and write this post today. This gorgeous lady really has inspired me today and I can’t thank her enough.

For the past fortnight I’ve been feeling like utter crap. Getting up and out of bed is a massive struggle. I just want to stay in bed and sleep my life away. Well that’s how I feel right now. I know it will pass but these ‘down days’ seem to have lasted longer than they have before. I can’t find the motivation to do anything. Even going in the shower and getting ready for work is a huge task.

I’ve decided that today I’m going to write down all the things that make me happy and see if this helps in changing my mood at all.

Things that make me happy

I love being bought flowers by my boyfriend, they always cheer me up and put a smile on my face.

I love snuggling up on the sofa in my onesie and blanket and watching a good disney classic.

I love looking at and planning holidays, anymore warm with a pool and bar will do me fine.

I love pizza and wine night in with the girls. We normally watch a scary movie and gossip for hours.

I love a bath using lush bath bombs, there’s just something about pink water and bubbles.

I love reading. I don’t do it enough but I love getting lost in a good book.

I love going down my boyfriend’s caravan for a long weekend away from everything.

And if all that fails there is always videos of cute dogs on Youtube. Especially Boo, He makes me happy ♥

I know what you mean, sometimes I have random blue days but very occasionally the blue days seem to add up and be never ending! I just always remember two things, one that if we didn't have the down days then we would never know when we were having all the joyful time in life, and two, it will pass, even if it isn't tomorrow, at some point it will pass, I just need to make it there! I think reflecting on happy things is a great thing to do as well 🙂 Hope you feel better soon lovely!! xx
