WHAT TO DO FOR HALLOWEEN

Halloween Pumpkin and Lantern

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween! It’s definitely one of my favourite holidays. Now being nearly 25 I’ve come up with a few ideas on how you can spend your Halloween and still enjoy the fun.

HORROR MOVIE NIGHT IN

This is how I am spending my Halloween this year. I’ve got all the girls coming around for wine, pizza and nibbles. We are going to watch some truly terrifying horror films that none of us have already seen. I’m going to carve some pumpkins in the day with Levi to set the spooky atmosphere in the evening. I’m pretty sure the night will end with a Disney film so that we aren’t all scared witless and unable to sleep that night ha!

HALLOWEEN FANCY DRESS PARTY
Whether you are going to an organised event, holding a house party or attending one this is a great way to spend all hallows eve. Come on everyone loves a bit of fancy dress and it’s the perfect excuse to dance and drink until the early hours with your besties!

TRICK OR TREATING WITH THE YOUNGER MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY
Enjoy the fun of being a child again and take a younger family member or friends children out trick or treating. It’s the perfect excuse to be in the true spirit of Halloween and get some sneaky treats in the process. Also you still have your whole evening to do whatever you want with and then eat all your sweets to your hearts content.

BLOG OR VLOG YOUR HOW TO HALLOWEEN MAKE-UP
This is the perfect one for the bloggers and vloggers. Try out some totally terrifying or super glam halloween make-up ideas. Get some spooky music on and start filming or take some snaps and write about each step of the make-up process. It’s definitely going to be sought after so do it early ready for people to see on Friday.

COUPLES NIGHT IN
Get ready for the trick or treaters. Light some candles and set out a pumpkin so the trick or treaters know you’ve got the goodies. You can spend the evening ‘Ooo, Ahh & Awwing’ over the little ones who come knocking. Once the evening starts to come to a close snuggle up on the sofa and watch some telly. Don’t forget to blow out the candles though.

‘I HATE HALLOWEEN’
If this holiday isn’t one of your favourites then your best bet is to head out for some food and drinks to avoid the trick or treaters. But stay clear of the town centre where the parties and revellers will be out in ghoulish force.

What are you doing this Halloween? Are you dressing up?

Wine, pizza and horror movies sounds like a plan!

I actually love Halloween more now than I did as a child! This year I shall be sipping cocktails at my Halloween fancy dress party. I love the idea of the Horror movie night in for next year though 🙂
