It’s that time of year when new shows start and others prepare to end their final series’! This is my list of the shows I literally cannot wait to watch!
Up first is my most awaited show! They’ve left me on a cliffhanger and I’ve been waiting on the sofa ever since for more! More I tell you. It’s had me gripped from day one with blood, gore, screams, baddies & hunger ravished walkers. It is of course.. the one and only.. The Walking Dead!
I’ve been hooked from the moment I met the cast. I won’t talk too much about the show in detail in case I reveal any spoilers for those who haven’t yet seen it. If you haven’t though and you love a good television show that encaptures your mind and leaves you screaming at the tv.. then this is the one for you. I have fallen in love with characters and completely loathed others and punched the air when they meet their untimely horrific often gorey demise (cruel I know but some characters just did my head in!) As you can tell I’m practically a superfan of the show and we have been left on a super huge cliffhanger in Series 4. I have slightly spoilt Season 5 for myself as I read through some spoiler sites but I literally could not stand the wait!
Series 5 of the Walking Dead will be hitting your screens on October 12th on AMC.
Next up on my list is a show I used to watch with my mother. I hadn’t watched it since leaving home 2 years ago but then flicking through the channels I came across it and fell in love with the show all over again. It’s not your typical crime drama, you can pick up any episode and know what’s going on as each follows a new case. This team of agents though all work very closely in the profile of their ‘un sub’. If you haven’t guessed already I’m talking about Criminal Minds!
Wahoo the cast are back and along with the new face of Jennifer Love Hewitt. Whom I love and used to always watch ‘Ghost Whisperer’. I love the analysis side of the show and how they use clues and Garcia’s teach to narrow down their culprit. I have seen a short advert for the new season but I know no more than that. So I’m very excited to make this a new weekly thing!
Season 10 of Criminal Minds will be aired on October 20th over on Sky Living.
Next Up in a British television series. Originally filmed in England but then due to funding was moved up to Scotland. This drama series followers teachers and students at the troublesome school where you never know what is going to happen next. There have been dramas, detention and even many deaths. The show I am talking about is…. Waterloo Road!
This is a show I have been watching since day one. I have lost count of how many headmasters/mistresses the school has seen over the years.. but I can tell you it’s a lot. Waterloo road definitely hasn’t run short of story lines either. Every teacher and pupil at the school has some sort of ‘problem’ that they have to face and the outcome isn’t always merry. Having known two of the cast members from the last 4 series’ it’s been great to watch and see their character come to life on screen! It’s always really nice to see people I used to be in drama school with on the big screen!
Waterloo Road is back on our screens on October 15th on BBC 1.
So these are my three most awaited television shows. What are you looking forward to on the telly? Maybe I’ll start watching that too!
