Are You A Saver or a Spender?

I am a big fat wasting money spendaholic! I can’t walk into a shop without freaking buying something. Even when I am pleading poverty I manage to miraculously find money from somewhere and convince myself that the pine scented plastic pink door stop is exactly what I’ve been looking for my whole life. I’m spending money left, right and centre like I’m Richard Branson or someone in his net worth. So I have decided to set myself the mission of all missions. I Neesha Rees solemnly swear that I will not purchase any new clothes, shoes, make-up (unless it’s a necessity) for the next 28 days! Four full weeks you scoff? Well I have never done it before so I’m going to try now.

If I am successful and manage to save or even make money I will re open my savings account and deposit the funds before my next payday. (I am the worst human being ever and do not currently have a savings account.. Shame on me!) My reward will be knowing that I can be savvy and save money to better my future or at least try to anyway.

I have created a cute little spreadsheet to assist me on my four week shopping drought. I’ve made it all girly and colour coded to provide some sort of fun during what will be the hardest 28 days of my life. Starting off in the red isn’t the greatest of get go’s either.

If I can do this then I can do anything. Spending is my worst habit and it’s going to be extremely hard for me but if I really do pull this off who knows what I’ll do next!?

If anyone would like to join me on my saving and not spending mission let me know in the comments and I can provide a downloadable link for my fun spreadsheet.
