Veronica’s Flea Market & August Bank Holiday

I spent the bank holiday weekend with my boyfriend and his family in their caravan in South Wales.

Of course the dog came too. It was a very chilled out weekend that involved a fair amount of alcohol as well. I had a brilliant time!

There was a Flea Market in the local village hall that I went to on Saturday morning and here are some of my finds.

I have no idea whether this Jimmy Choo black bag is genuine or not but it was £1 so there was no way I was leaving without it. It’s got a really long strap which I love and the inside has a zipped pocket to the centre of the bag to keep things like a mobile phone in so you never have to rummage around at the bottom of your bag to find it.

The next thing that caught my eye was a lady in the corner of the hall selling vintage rings. They were all labelled as extra small so I thought I would try a few on and see if any fit. I ended up trying all the rings on and they were all my perfect size so it must have been fate that I was supposed to buy these. The first one that caught my eye was this Emerald coloured gem on a silver band. It make me think of something Lord of the Rings esque. The second one I decided to buy was this 3 tiered silver and lilac gem stoned ring. I haven’t yet done any research on the brands of the rings so I have no idea what they are worth but I paid £5 each for them.

I then spotted a Sophie Kinsella book mixed among a load of cookery books so I grabbed it quick before anyone else did. I do enjoy reading Sophie Kinsella books, they are normally very easy reads and light-hearted topics. This is one of her books that I haven’t actually read yet so was a good find. Underneath ‘I’ve got your Number’ was Encore Valentine by Adriana Trigiani. She’s not an author I have previously heard of but I’m a sucker for a good book illustration and I thought the font of the book title was cute so I picked it up. I had both books for 20p each! Bargain!

Nothing much else to report but hopefully will have another post up tomorrow
